Over 1,000 Consultations and Screenings During the “Free Infertility and Fertility Support Month” at Hanh Phuc International Hospital
10/04/2025
From March 4 to 31, 2025, the Fertility Center at Hanh Phuc International Hospital recorded over 1,000 registrations for fertility consultations and check-ups as part of the “Free Infertility and Fertility Support Month” program.
Throughout the duration of the program, nearly 500 couples completed direct consultations and medical examinations with doctors and specialists. Results showed that 51% of these cases were experiencing reproductive health issues, specifically:
- 9% of young women were found to have early signs of ovarian function decline
- 28% of couple were diagnosed with inferitility and required assisted reproductive techniques, including in-vitro fertilization (IVF). Among this group, a notable number of cases were recorded as having no sperm or severely abnormal sperm.
- 14% were advised to undergo further specialized testing to determine the underlying causes and develop an appropriate treatment plan in a timely manner.
Notably, the program not only attracted couples facing challenges in conceiving but also garnered significant interest from many young women. Their interest in reproductive health and egg freezing services is a positive signal, reflecting an increasing awareness among women about the importance of fertility preservation and proactive future planning.
On average, the hospital welcomed 20 to 40 patients per day for consultations, with peak days seeing nearly 50 appointments. Thanks to careful organization, the team of doctors, nurses, technicians, and hospital staff worked intensively to ensure comprehensive and quality care for each case. Through examinations, doctors also identified several cases of infertility stemming from preventable causes—had they been detected earlier.
Dr. Huynh Thi Thu Thao, MSc, Specialist Level II, Director of the Fertility Support Center at Hanh Phuc International Hospital, shared:
“Compared to previous years, public awareness regarding infertility has improved significantly. Many couples are now proactive in seeking medical advice upon noticing abnormal signs, which increases the chances of successful treatment. Especially encouraging is the fact that many young women are becoming more aware of the importance of reproductive health screening before pregnancy and fertility preservation for the future.”

Importantly, the program not only received positive responses from residents of Binh Duong but also reached neighboring provinces such as Dong Nai, Vung Tau, and Long An. Many couples traveled long distances, hoping to rekindle their dream of becoming parents.
Ms. Nguyen Thi N., a resident of Dong Nai, shared emotionally after arriving early on the first day of the program:
“My husband and I have been married for over six years but haven’t had a child. We’ve tried many treatments with no success. When I heard about the free infertility consultation at Hanh Phuc Hospital, I registered right away. We didn’t mind the distance—our only hope is that this time, we may finally be blessed with a child.”
Her story echoes that of many other couples currently on the journey to parenthood. Thanks to the program, they found renewed hope and motivation to keep trying.
With the positive outcomes of this initiative, Hanh Phuc International Hospital is committed to continuing similar meaningful community programs in the future. As a leading reproductive healthcare institution in Binh Duong, the hospital aims not only to support couples on their fertility journey but also to raise widespread awareness of reproductive health across the community.
