As the Spring Festival of 2025 fills the streets with joy, the team at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Hanh Phuc International General Hospital is celebrating a truly special season. A courageous “little warrior” – a 26-week preterm baby – after an incredibly challenging journey, was officially discharged healthy on the third day of Tết (Lunar New Year). A priceless gift to begin the year!

Born at just 26 weeks, tiny and frail, the baby faced countless obstacles that seemed impossible to overcome. But with extraordinary resilience, boundless love from the family, and tireless dedication from the NICU medical team, after 3 months and 1 week of continuous struggle, the baby gathered enough strength to return to the loving embrace of his parents.

The baby’s miraculous journey has deeply touched all of us. To see the baby smiling, healthy, in the loving arms of his parents is the most precious gift that the medical staff and nurses at the NICU have received this New Year. The baby’s journey has just begun, but we believe that, with the unwavering love of the family and the baby’s resilient spirit, the future will be filled with joy, health, and happiness.
