He then completed a residency program specializing in Endocrinology at the same institution and further advanced his academic journey by obtaining a Ph.D. from Taipei Medical University, Taiwan—top 500 universities in the world.

He has received multiple certifications and awards for his presentations at prestigious conferences, including the Endocrine Society Meeting (USA), the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Scientific Sessions, the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) Congress, and the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) Congress.

Since 2022, Dr. Nguyen Nhat Nam has been an official member of the Endocrine Society (USA), and in 2024, he joined the American Diabetes Association (ADA), further solidifying his international standing in the field of endocrinology.
